The Hot Spring:
Dry Suzie Hot Spring also known as Hot Sulphur or Greenhorn is in a beautiful spot in the high desert near a historical stop on the California Trail. This spring could be amazing but instead it is full of garbage and tubs are shot full of gun holes. The overuse and abuse could be because it is close to interstate 80, but the road is rutted and steep in places so 4 wheel drive and high clearance is required. The source at about 145 deg F is at the top of the hill and piped to the different tubs with pvc pipe. The one bathing spot is a bath tub up on the top of the hill where you fill it and have to wait for the water to cool off. People have also tried to cover the bullet holes in one of the cattle troughs to soak, but it doesn't work that well. This location has so much potential with camping allowed and being protected from cattle with a fence, but right now the pools seem to be used for target practice more than soaking.
