The roads were fine getting to the springs, a bit muddy in the last mile but fine, even with snow on the mountains and even in the valley.  We had the pools all to ourselves and most of the campground was all muddy and wet so we had to camp closer to the springs than desired.  At night the hot pool was about 102 deg F, so we got an ok soak, but couldn't get that hot even hovering over the hot spot and burning our feet.  But we still slept outside in the below freezing cold.  Unfortunately the pool had cooled to about 97 deg F over night so we did not soak in the morning, bummer!
