The Hot Spring:
The hot springs are 3 very nice, concrete tubs that sit in the site of an old bath house. The structure is not standing but the pools remain. the flow comes into a trough from a source about 200 yards away at around 135 degrees. The water flows directly to the tubs. A channel has been dug so that the hot water flows around the tubs spilling into the water where there have been rocks put in the way to decrease the flow and keep the pools at a good temp, adjacent to the pools is a cold spring which has pvc piping to bring the water to the pool. This way you can have 3 different temps to 3 pools.
There is camping everywhere and there are no restrictions, clothing optional although watch out for families and sheep herders and everything wil be ok.

Omg! I love baker hot springs.i go as Ofton as possible. I went there this week and was horrifued beyond words. There is a old trailer house and get the grottos. They gave mattresses over them. It appears a group of homeless moved in had some good ideas. And all tgs material there .long. I could use on my new place. But it appears no one has been there in months. So aweful. We spent hours pucking up shit out of the water.. Unbelievable. Anyone know who did that out there? There is no power. Just a mess! Reason why owners if such places close them.but they would have to have permission. What happened?

the hot springs are on BLM property Daniel does not own them his grand parents own the property to the south. he tries to say the hot springs are his and to keep out but it is open for public use and the soaking is wonderful you can adjust them temp with various hot and cold water flow to the tubs. Daniel is in jail for threatening people with illegal guns, growing and possession of illegal drugs, resisting arrest, theft from various people near by and in town for his property and most recently on 4/9/16 aggravated grand arson. he tried to burn the hot springs down. the tubs are still usable but sadly there are no trees bushes or any vegetaion left. hopefully we can all work together to regrow the area mr. daniel is not allowed back in the area but will probably be in jail for quite some time with numerous felony charges include animal abuse he shot a harmless dog and shot at the dogs owner only missing him by inches the bullet was retrieved from his truck. So please ignore any bull crap you may have heard about or from daniel its all lies and he wont be back we hope.

For improvements on the property South, the sole owner, DR Jensen encourages participation he can be contacted by phone. His phone is on the FOR RENT sign on the Baker Hot Springs Road. This is an opportunity of a lifetime. By the new year, Baker Hot Springs will be on the map - gone viral.
The source is about 50 yards
The source is about 50 yards to the North and on private property. The tubs are currently in question of who actually owns it. Some say BLM, some say its Private Property. By the end of the month we will ascertain that information. From the pots to the South a run-off stream runs on land owned by the BLM who has told us we could irrigate the stream as the owner of property 40 acres South is the sole owner of the water rights. More tubs on the property owned by Daniel DR Jensen who presently lives on the property are planned. He is looking for manpower and is friendly. He is offering anyone a lease on his land and to be part of the dream his Grandfather had and wasnt able to make come to pass. There will be organic greenhouses for producing produce. The three tubs may be on DR Jensens property. If it is, it will stay open, free to the public and improvements will be encouraged.
