When we talk about places I

When we talk about places I would gladly do things that could really be some place where my interest really goes up. - Reputation Advocate

Certainly one of the most

Certainly one of the most popular hot springs on public lands in Southern California it attracts crowds in the late spring, summer, and early fall and unfortunately many are not respectful of the environment and litter the area. This is a clothing optional hot spring, but families do visit during the peak season. I would encourage anyone who visits the area to haul out at least one bag of trash upon departure in an effort to restore the area to a more pristine state. Also, help educate discourteous visitors who bring glass into the area. Please discourage any campfires in this sensitive fire area (they are banned) as campfires will just attract the Rangers and Sheriff who frequent the area both by air, horseback, and on foot. Best time to visit for those seeking solitude is midweek late fall, winter, or early spring. Just be prepared for high, very cold water while fording Deep Creek to access the hot springs during these seasons. Again, haul out your trash as well as some extra.

Deep creek is my local HS. I only go there when the water is cold and high. Keeps the dumbshits out HAHA
